How to Join

Picture
Women employed as a professional educator or someone who has been retired from an educational position may be invited to active membership in the Society.

Recommendations for memberships should be based upon knowledge of the professional qualifications and personal qualities of the potential member. Members present vote upon prospective members in chapter meetings by written ballot. An official invitation signed by the chapter president is mailed to each prospective member.

Orientation sessions prior to initiation should be scheduled so that members may inform prospective initiates of the organization, programs, and history of the Society.  A member initiated into the Society becomes a member of a chapter, a state organization, and the international Society.

For more information about membership and other contents of this website, please contact President, DKG Alberta.
